Five years ago, having overcome many failures, missteps, and setbacks, and seeking a deeper purpose, I knew two things without a doubt: that God had clearly called me to begin writing, and that I would soon meet the love of my life and be married within the year. The details of how God put such certainty in my heart for these two outcomes do not matter half as much as the profound purpose this certainty has brought into my life.
Five years later, in the midst of the turmoil of a worldwide pandemic and mass political confusion, mirrored in many ways in my own personal life as well, it is with boldness and courage that I blaze ahead with my mantel of certainty like there is no tomorrow. These are the kind of times that can strike the fear of paralysis into the hearts of many, but what a blessing, even having nothing else, but the certainty of my love and conviction for the purposes which God has called me.
And so, with this brief introductory blog post on my brand new website, I am stepping into my destiny in this new era, to have faith in love, and to begin writing and sharing all that I know.
